2. What data we process and why

Through the contact form we collect: name, email, phone, the age of the child, programme and destination of interest, and your message. We use them exclusively to reply to your enquiry and advise you about our educational programmes.

If you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 collects pseudonymised usage data —such as pages viewed, device and approximate source— to measure the website's overall performance. We do not send Google the information entered in the contact form. With the same consent, OpenAI (ChatGPT Ads measurement pixel) may record aggregated conversion events (form submit, WhatsApp or phone clicks), without form message content.

If you subscribe to the newsletter, we process your optional name, email, language and selected interest to send Interlingo news, guides and offers. Subscription requires a separate checkbox and confirmation through an emailed link. We keep a record of both actions as evidence of consent.

3. Legal basis

Your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), given by ticking the acceptance box, and pre-contractual measures taken at your request (art. 6.1.b GDPR).

The newsletter relies exclusively on your specific consent. You can withdraw it at any time without affecting enquiries or contracted services.

4. Recipients

We do not share your data with third parties except by legal obligation. Our processors are Cloudflare, Inc. (website hosting) and Resend (form email delivery, contact management and newsletters). If you accept analytics, Google Ireland Limited processes data for Google Analytics 4 and OpenAI for the ChatGPT Ads measurement pixel (bzrcdn.openai.com / bzr.openai.com). When booking a programme, your data will be shared with the destination schools or organisations, always with your knowledge.

5. Retention

Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to handle it and at most 2 years from the last contact, unless a contractual relationship or legal obligation requires longer.

Google Analytics 4 event data is retained for 14 months.

Newsletter data is retained while you remain subscribed. After unsubscribing, we keep only the minimum information needed to honour and demonstrate your opt-out request.

6. Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to info@interlingo.es. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
